Managing Decision- Priority- Mental Error is dedicated to helping managers, administrators, court judges and other legal professionals, CEOs, business owners and all other professional decision-makers of all types avoid mental error in decision selection and fundamental prioritizing, with quotes by noted psychologists and authors - and links to their books. Articles posted at this site serve as reference tools that may be reviewed when making important decisions.

On-line Business & Legal Research (click on-line research at left) lists hundreds and hundreds of helpful links to informative sites, journals, texts, newspapers, publications and databases to assist you with on-line research. These are some of the most informative META sites on our World Wide Web. If you know of any meta-site that does not appear in this list, please let us know here! You could literally spend months trying to find all of these sites, but here they are ..all assembled and neatly categorized in one place for you.

Although specifically geared toward administrative/managerial, legal and business research, many other researchers as well should find on-line research helpful. In particular, the first eighteen (18) upper left-hand categories (that is, after you click on-line research) list many sites that are helpful in general and should be of assistance to anyone engaging in serious research over our World Wide Web.

For our more gregarious visitors (and this includes most of us!!) to this site, A.0.P.D.M. is posted (above left). A.0.P.D.M. represents the beginning of a potentially new organization especially for professional decision-makers: Association of Professional Decision Makers (aopdm). If nothing else, provide us with your own e-mail address so that other professionals who visit this site may contact you. It costs absolutely nothing! And you may learn something new! Or, publicly post your own thoughts. We are always welcoming new ideas and opinions!

Included in Site awards (at lower left) are those associations and web masters who have bestowed special recognition on this site with their Web Awards. It is sincerely heartwarming to receive notice from these professional groups for all the work put into (& still continuing!) developing this site. Special thanks also goes to all those who have contributed their personal and/or professional suggestions and articles. You can find those articles in Site contents (above left), and this site certainly would not shine so brightly without them.

This site has been accepted into the Management Consultants WebRing, "provid[ing] today's management with advice and counsel ... to improve business operations across a broad spectrum of programs," and is also a member of The Learning Fountain Network, dedicated not only "to satisfy[ing] your learning needs ... [but] Excellence, Honesty and Ethics above all." This site has also gained recognition from our Net medical community, in particular from med411.com, "a medical search engine and portal [with] healthcare information for doctors, nurses, hospitals, clinics and patients."

You can find links to these important hubs:

Other medical information and health links are also included elsewhere on the same page, here.

For interested readers, Hundreds of Thousands(!) of book titles (see Books & software) have been included at this site, special thanks to Barnes&Noble.com. Categories listed at this site include legal and general categories. We would encourage you to check out what Barnes&Noble.com has to offer and search for the titles at your local library before making a purchase!

Additionally, Harvard Business Review finds a happy home here. (Click HARVARD, under Books & software.) Harvard Business Review "brings to life the insights and best practices of business thinkers and leaders from around the world. Every month, HBR delivers ideas powerful enough to change not only what people think, but also what they do." Every manager/administrator should familiarize his or herself with the pertinent advice that these business leaders and educators — past and present — have had and do have to offer.

Also, The New York Review of Books' READER'S CATALOG: The 40,000+ Best Books in Print has been included at this site, linking you to timely titles in a myriad of subject categories, ranging from Architecture to World History. "The Reader's Catalog is an annotated selection of some 40,000 of the most interesting and informative books in print today.... It is a carefully selected and continuously updated 'Dream Library' of dozens of noted writers, scholars and critics" and is also included in Books & software.

Finally, drop us a line! Feel free to suggest improvements, modifications or submit articles and other useful information that may be of interest to other site visitors!!
