Guessi-work, messi-work; rollin' out a plan;
Who may Know? Who may most Right?
Compassion to Action! Industry no spare.
Ye climb a staircase. Ye leap a mountain!
"Improve, improve! thee advice say be,
To recall Alexander Pope, ye hath no time.
Preparation 'n prevention: all too far, yur' little human mind?
INTERPRETATION:
Guessing at your plans inevitably leads to err; it's messy. Don't guess, Fool! Selfish strategies inevitably lead to trouble; instead commit yourself to what is RIGHT. Strategy should be only a thought, a ponder.
Who's the most competent? You need to find someone who KNOWS what to do. Who has the most compassionate, safe, responsible, i.e. Right, decision in mind? Finding the most Right course of action always will take your decision-making to new heights, maybe even transcendental thinking.
Get yourself to work! ...because you CARE about all those who may be subsequently affected by your decision. There is no spare effort to waste. Remain persistent and resolute. Your drive comes from within, from your CARE, rather than a glaring light to guide you externally (as a bone for a dog to chase!).
You want to make sound decisions. So you research; you analyze; you consult; you SEARCH EVERYWHERE (climbing staircases, leaping mountains!, making measures of the sea, etc.).
Good > Better > Best. Keep working to IMPROVE to find the BEST solutions. But where to find them? You gotta' keep workin' at it!
Time limits all that you may be able to accomplish. Forget about reading/recalling "An Essay On Criticism." You don't have the time! Remember where to most importantly focus your attention: all possible causes and subsequent consequences; verify you got it right; perfect HOW to get it done (design);
Prepare for what is to come; prevent any unnecessary suffering. Is all this too much for your little human mind? | ||
